Introduction
Established in 1880, Winchmore Hill Sports Club has been a bastion of the local community for almost 140 years. Based at The Paulin Ground in North London, we are one of the largest playing clubs in the country, located on extensive grounds in the heart of Winchmore Hill. We have four all weather courts, 3 of which are floodlit, and five excellent grass courts.
What sets Winchmore Hill Tennis Club apart more than anything else is a friendly and sociable atmosphere where adults and children of all ages and playing standards can turn up and play just about whenever they choose.
The club is registered with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and offers a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy playing tennis. We thrive on playing great sports with passion and commitment, without losing sight of having fun. The ethos of the club is that tennis should be played in a relaxed, friendly environment - hence our motto 'Tennis for All'.
About Us
The Tennis club is part of Winchmore Hill Sports Club. We have five strong sporting sections covering Cricket, Football, Hockey, Tennis and Table Tennis, plus children's holiday clubs and an active non-playing membership making us the all-in-one choice for sporty kids or adults!
We have a large spacious clubhouse shared between these sections. The clubhouse has a bar open in the evening every day & on weekends, the bar is open all afternoon and we have a catering team providing a wide selection of food for members and guests. You can read more about our facilities here. With our varied seasonal sports, the clubhouse is buzzing all year round!
A year-round social and competitive tennis, junior and adult coaching programmes, a warm and welcoming clubhouse and a popular calendar of events are just some of the reasons why Winchmore Hill Tennis Club is thriving.
The club offers a variety of social events such as fun tournaments and quizzes. There is always something going on!
